Project Background

This project aims to equip students with the critical 21st-century skills, competencies and character qualities that most essential to meet today’s academic/career needs. It also instills the right spirit of addressing social causes and serves an outreach platform to help the rural student community by addressing their educational needs.

This is a long-term research project and will continually benefit students in the long run to bridge gap between what students know and what the global system of education actually demands.  It fosters critical awareness of global challenges and engagement for sustainable lifestyles and career building.

Importance of Educational Research

• Educational research plays a crucial role in knowledge advancement across different fields of study. 
• It provides answers to practical educational challenges using scientific methods.
• Findings from educational research; especially applied research, are instrumental in policy reformulation. 
• For the researcher and other parties involved in this research approach, educational research improves learning, knowledge, skills, and understanding.
• Educational research improves teaching and learning methods by empowering you with data to help you teach and lead more strategically and effectively.
• Educational research helps students apply their knowledge to practical situations.

The Framework for 21st Century Learning

The “base” of 21st century learning is the acquisition of key academic subject knowledge, and that schools must build on that base with additional skills including Learning Skills, Life Skills, and Literacy Skills.

Formation of Education and Research team (ERT)

At Global Academy, one of our prime focuses is to develop learning resources for rural students’ par with international standards and imparting 21^st century learning skills. Keeping this in mind, we will be  carefully selecting handful of international students for the research project through various interview processes who really have the vision to elevate the rural student community along with us.

This is a complete structured program for the international students and carried out very professionally.

• Sessions on Organizational Ethics and Practices
• Formal interactions using Zoom, Wats App, Slack, Google Meet etc.
• Using Emails and Google Drive formally for communication and documentation
• Using Social Media Ethically and Safely
• Sessions carefully planned and monitored with weekly and monthly reporting
• Completely aligned to the 21^st century learning skills, life skills and media/technology skills
• Sessions with experienced professionals enabling transdisciplinary learning
• Experience working cross culturally by directly interacting with real time students/teachers from the Indian Rural Community
• Design valuable educational resources like Blogs, Newsletters, Books and E-Learning materials etc.

To achieve this, we have created a Student Wing with formulation of various boards following a hierarchical approach for better association, structuring and process flow.
